There is something wrong with the wine you are drinking then

Well that'll be pretty much all cheapish wines then.
I have found that when you get into the £20 a bottle range they are nicer, but not enough to justify the price.

Depends what it is being served with too
Serve it with the wrong food and you can ruin the wine.
I think Stunned knows more about this sort of thing...

It's true
Syrah tastes like pickled cabbage if you drink it on its own; if you drink it with food it tastes of berries. It's bizarre.

Other wines are similar but less obvious.
