Parrot or Quentin

Any joy with the headhunters?
(, Mon 14 Nov 2011, 20:47, Reply)
I am ok thanks Jeff.
Wife is back from Edinburgh. Baby seems happy & healthy (and sleeping through the night which makes a massive difference).

HH conversations are going fine. Getting a good reaction to my CV. Challenge is that the sort of jobs I am being considered for are quite rare and the interview process can take months. I think it will be Easter before I land something I am happy with.

How are things with you Sir?
(, Mon 14 Nov 2011, 20:51, Reply)
Not bad thanks.
I'm pitching for a new contract (with a different company) over the next couple of weeks as it looks like to stay where I am, they'll insist on cutting my rate.

Are you looking for another directorship?
(, Mon 14 Nov 2011, 20:56, Reply)
Preferably. Either functional lead (marketing) or an CEO role.

(, Mon 14 Nov 2011, 20:58, Reply)
If you go for the CEO option
Would you want to go with a PLC or a company that still have private equity?
(, Mon 14 Nov 2011, 21:02, Reply)
PE would be better - long term incentives and all that. PLC means a lot more fiscal management, short term goal leadership to keep building EBITDA & corporate PR

(, Mon 14 Nov 2011, 21:05, Reply)
But there is more chance of a golden handshake from a PLC when you fail to increase earnings before tax!
Taking a company from PE to flotation would be something interesting to have on the C.V.
