I'm guessing it's because I overpaid tax on my redundancy payment, they said it was probable as they just looked at the year as a whole.

I heard that Newcastle council are docking strikers wage in February instead of next month.
So is Northumberland, for that matter. An extremely generous move, especially as February is a non council tax month.
