It was actually Celebrity Slaves.
And I nominated Bruce, Williams, Sioux and Valentine.

I have been told that I have Depp-esque cheekbones.

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:53, Reply)
don't reckon I'd fuck
you though
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:54, Reply)
You probably would.
Sadly, the converse is untrue.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:54, Reply)
nah
I'm pretty nifty with the chloroform
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:56, Reply)
He is actually quite pretty
if you like that kinda thing.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:57, Reply)
want some chloroform?

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:58, Reply)
No thanks, I'm good.
He's a bit girly though, but if you like depp that's OK, think depp crossed with Tennant
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:59, Reply)
yeah, but girly isn't good
plus, he might put music on
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:00, Reply)
True, true.
Best out of it really.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:02, Reply)
Who's a bit girly?

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:00, Reply)
are you practising to be that guy's parrot?

Last weekend I sat my kid on my shoulder and made her say 'pieces of eight'.
In a restaurant.

you are the best kind of parent

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:06, Reply)
He is, isn't he?
Despite all his failings this is his saving grace I feel.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:07, Reply)
You should make a good pirate.
I saw a trailer for Treasure Island the other day with Eddie Izzard as Silver, while I'll wager you think he's 'fucking shit' It actually made me want to get sky.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:06, Reply)
Oh God no.
That book is a masterpiece. Izzard should be exterminated. A more affected and self-consciously 'ooh I'm so random and tangental' turd is perhaps impossible to find. Hang on, 'Noel Fielding'.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:10, Reply)
I knew it.
He makes me laugh, but some to think of it his acting is terrible. STill TI is overdue a modern remake. I might try and download it at some point as I do like a good bit of pirate, but then I like Noel Fielding too.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:11, Reply)
Shame about the Dodd-esque teeth and Feldman-esque eyes though.

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:54, Reply)
TV chef Valentine Warner?
You horrible chutter.

I sat opposite Sioux and Budgie on the Circle Line once. Wouldn't.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:53, Reply)
Kym Valentine.

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:54, Reply)
When she has the painters in
You'll be able to refer to her as, 'My Bloody Valentine'
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:58, Reply)
Oh dear.

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 21:59, Reply)
You sound a bit offended.

My pal Mat knows Kevin Shields.
He is 'fucking weird' and 'has BO'.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:02, Reply)
He was excellent in Primal Scream.
And he does seem like he would be a total oddball IRL.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:05, Reply)
I saw him guest at a Spacemen 3 show a couple of years ago. He's good.

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:06, Reply)
Spacemen 3?
Do you mean as in Jason Spaceman and Sonic Boom, or is this a Pierce free Spacemen 3?

On a lighter note, Lord can You Hear Me? is one of my favourite songs ever.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:07, Reply)
No Pierce - and he wasn't missed to be honest.
It was amazing.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:10, Reply)
No Pierce?
Then again, Spiritualized do Spacemen 3 songs, so it all works out. The order of greatness of the versions of Lord Can You Hear Me? goes Spacemen 3, Low, Spiritualized.

My Bloody Valentine.
His part in Scream was...
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:07, Reply)
He joined Primal Scream during the XTRMNTR & Evil Heat era.

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:09, Reply)
Was he on XTERM etc..
I had no idea.

I love the fact that that album was more or less recorded live, with a little bit of overdub.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:15, Reply)
XTRMNTR is superb, except for Pills.
Worst rapping ever.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:17, Reply)

Bruce Hornsby isn't hip hop Jeff.

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:25, Reply)
I've no idea who Bruce Hornsby is.
But he sounds like an Australian toy-railway.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:26, Reply)
You do.
He did a gay pop song called 'That's just the way it is' - sampled by terminal spastic '2-Pac'.

I worry about you sometimes.

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:24, Reply)
But why?

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:25, Reply)
I think you might be deaf.
If you want to name a shit MC then Chuck D(eacon) would be a fair call. Sanctimonious, monotone and dull as piss - their beats were so good few noticed.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:27, Reply)
I know what Chuck D's limitations as an MC are, but it doesn't negate how great PE were.
Run DMC were just wiggidy wack though. Doubly so when that piss poor 'house' remix of It's Like That made Jeff take notice of them, back in 1997.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:31, Reply)
By 'Walk this Way' they were awful.

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:31, Reply)
that version of walk this way is appalling

(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:18, Reply)
No.
Motorhead was on Vanishing Point. Probably their best album as well.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:21, Reply)
He's in My Bloody Valentine
Seminal shoegaze band. Loveless was one of the finest records of the 1990s.
(, Tue 6 Dec 2011, 22:08, Reply)
Mine would be
'Jimmy' Nesbitt, 'Rik' Mayall and Craig Charles.

I would work them to death in my sweatshop and kick their faces in every morning.
