Crisps and booze. Sorted

(, Thu 29 Dec 2011, 16:10, 2 replies, latest was 14 years ago)
I'd say the crisps were optional.
I thought you'd have been all over the 'Iceland' answer. When are you going?

crisps are necessary to make it look less like you are an alcoholic
the local skanky indie/rock/goth club used to have a plate of curly sandwiches behind the bar. In only found out later that these were a gesture towards the licensing laws which meant the had to offer food as well as drink.

There's a club in Cardiff that gives you toast every time you buy a pint.

oh man, I need to go there
unless it's shit. OK, unless it doesn't let in aging indie kids with no sense of dress

It's a nu-rave club.
It isn't really. It's a class little indie joint. We got kicked out because my mate was so far gone he came out of the toilet and onto the dance floor with his trousers and pants still round his ankles.

really? where's that?
the only places I know in Cardiff are the Welsh Club (Ifor Bach or something) and Metros

(, Thu 29 Dec 2011, 16:53, Reply)
It was good.
I'm off out for dinner and drinks now. Let me know if you want to bounce any more ideas about for the new venture!

Also have a look at things like the Prince's Trust, www.princes-trust.org.uk/?gclid=CLOVmMjgp60CFSFItAodW1EX1A there might be funding available for IT/Marketing.
