I have cooked!
Got a nice beef in beer going in the slow cooker. The nice thing about doing it on a day off is being able to take your time and do it sort of right rather than rushing it before work. Also the whole flat will smell heavenly all day and I'll actually be in to enjoy it.

The lead character in US spy drama "Burn Notice"
is called Weston. I had a bit of a guilty chuckle about that.

Lusty and I
invented a delicious Jamaican chicken dish yesterday. It started off being a marinade but it was so thick we cooked it in a pan rather than grilling. One less scotch bonnet next time though – it was ‘bastard hot’.

Nancy
Snort the chillies next time, it'll hurt less. Sounds delicious though. I love Scotch Bonnets.

Oh yes thanks Monty!
Following your link here to The Pickle Man's website I stuck the "selection pack" on my Christmas wishlist and got it. Lots of lovely little jars of things with chilies in. So far I have used the medium hot tomato sauce on a sausage sandwich and loved it. Looking forward to making a curry so I can enjoy some of the others.

Fuck me...that was a bit mental.
