Had a meeting with my manager, we have one every 3 months, but this is an interlude to a yearly review, as I started oct last year.
Normally the company director is there, but not this time, but we'll have another one with him on monday. About 15 minutes before I was due to go in, my smoking crew asked if I wanted to go for one and for about 30 seconds I was going "ermmm errrr eermmm" and my manager laughed and said "I think he means yes" so I said "thanks" and went in.

Honestly, I thought my head was on the chopping block. I don't know why, I just did, I always think that. But it turns out they're extremely happy with me, they love my ideas, they love my work. Next week I'll have a "DO NOT DISTRUBUTE" dvd of a major film release this year to watch and get ideas for a campaign from (all I know is "the twist hasn't been done before" and "think horror and blood".... and a couple of other things). They got lots of plans for the year, lots of things they want me to work on, and I said "Now with what I'm about to say, this is why I never made it as a buisness man, but my friends, and this is from outside of the company, asked me to ask about a "Cost of Living" and yearly wage increase" and he said I was right to bring it up and will talk to the MD when the guy is in a good mood.

In general, everything is awesome work-wise... and I'm getting emails and calls for people headhunting me, but I'm replying "thanks but no thanks" to them.

0o0o0oh, also, we got featured on one of the biggest gadget news websites in the world today, one of our videos went completely viral, and we're seeing our pageviews hit the roof in an unpressedented way.... it's thrown all our graphs off, but the site code has handled it perfectly.

00o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0oh, I spent a good 10-15 minutes talking to the cute girl in Waitrose from the other day today, she was laughing a lot. I might get to put it in her. Maybe.

I've started watching Dexter for the first time, really enjoying it so far.
And I've got a prawn curry, indian starters, mango chutney, rieta, popadoms and nun bread for dinner, as most of it was end-of-day-cheap. And a "Red velvet whoopy pie" for afters 'cus I donno what it is but the cute girl recomended it to me.

=D Things are lookin' up !
0o0o0o0oh, yeah', another thing, my collegue makes about £X,XXX/month on some iphone and android app he made, and he's gonna get me to do the Windows Phone 7 one and we'll go 50/50 on it. It won't make that kind of money, but these tiny little apps that take a weekend to make are now paying his rent and bills, and once they're made, they're made, you just watch the cash roll in.

I got a 20% wage increase case the business got bought out by a large bank.
Was well pleased with that.

Winner of the week!
20%? Fuck, that's enough to furnish a whole house in white shagpile carpet and still have change.

she sounds interested and works in waitrose, so she's classy.

I think I might just have to do that =)
She's a bit young, early 20s or late teens, but who knows? Might be something, might be nothing.
