Ok internet, entertain me. Go.

Well you were both wrong

Please note the subject, date and time for your records, as I'm rarely wrong, so you may want to refer back to my error in future.

Is it wrong to be secretly pleased when the wife goes out?

(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 20:42, Reply)
First time since the baby was born she has gone out with her mates for the evening.
So I am pleased for her and pleased for me (well at least whilst my daughter remains asleep).

EDIT: No, not wrong at all. I consider it "healthy for our relationship". In other words I can do what I like.
(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 20:44, Reply)
Well that is good for her and for you.
She'll probably spend half the night either talking or thinking about your daughter.
Whereas you will probably spend half the night masturbating.
(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 20:49, Reply)

She has already sent two text messages; which is understandable.

Thankfully neither message has interrupted my wanking.

God, no!
It's lovely to have the place to yourself and not have someone ask where you're going every time you leave the room.
(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 20:50, Reply)

Everytime you leave the room? WTF?

I don't think it's an age thing.
I think some people are just like that.

I worked with a woman
Who complained that, after they had moved into a bungalow, her husband would follow her from room to room like a lovesick puppy.

I'm watching paranormal activity, it's alright now I don't live in a haunted house.

Just sayin', keep the dress, it works.

(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 21:23, Reply)
OH GOD I DONT KNOW HOW THIS THING ENDED, IT WAS CREEPY.
But the scariest bit was that a ghost thing happened in the daytime, that's the time of day where ghost things can't happen.

I sware, if anyone does a haunted flats movie, I'm never watching it.
(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 20:59, Reply)
If it helps at all,
There are no such things as ghosts
(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 21:00, Reply)
How can there be so many stories agmonst so many unconnected cultures throughout the whole of history, that has ghost stories, if they aren't real?
It's not like Batman or Spiderman where only one culture/person has thought of it, and spread the story through media.
(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 21:25, Reply)
Because everyone in the world has or will have experience of death.
The same is not true for radioactive spiders.
(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 21:29, Reply)
But going back to the days where we all lived in the forrests and caves, I'm sure people would have thought "That's a bear moving my stuff when I'm not around" than "That is the dead 'spirit', which I have no concept of, moving my shit around".

(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 21:52, Reply)
Old ghost stories and folk tales
Tend to be a bit more involved than "Woah! That wasn't there when we went out"
They are usually more along the lines of your story about your dad calling you.
(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 21:57, Reply)
Anyway, I'm off to bed
Don't have nightmares.
(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 22:00, Reply)
No. Other. Explaination.

(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 22:12, Reply)
I'm sure I've seen one.
It had Julianne Moore in it, I think. I can't remember what it was called.

EDIT: I was wrong. It was Jennifer Connelly. It was bloody creepy, too.
(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 21:04, Reply)
I'll skip that one.

(, Sat 21 Jan 2012, 21:26, Reply)
