Microsoft Access. Last module on my ECDL
Mostly been a piece of piss but I've never used Access so I'm actually having to learn this one, and the exam's on Wednesday.

Can't help you there
Are these new IT skills for the job hunt?

It's just a hoop to jump through.
When they say "must be fully conversant with Microsoft Office Suite", instead of me saying "I use Outlook, Excel and Word like most cunts, and the other things are useless." I can say "I have full European Computer Driving Licence (but don't ask me to use Access because i bet i could use Excel instead)

What are you like?
(, Sun 22 Jan 2012, 11:41, Reply)
Hah, I think I'm gonna do some cooking today... something I can eat during the week.
You got any ideas of something I can use as a base to make a veriaty of things? I might make some of Clendrix's Babotie mix, it's like a sweetish curryish spicyish mince.
(, Sun 22 Jan 2012, 11:57, Reply)
Make a basic tomato sauce. Y'know, onion, garlic, toms, passata, thicken it nice.
THEN, it can be anything you want at a later date.
Add spices, yogurt, chicken and rice - it's curry.
Add paprika, chillis, meat etc - it's a bit like chilli.
Add basil, oregano, red wine, bit of sugar, mince - it's bolognese.

Sometimes I make a big vat of the stuff.

That sounds alright to me, I might add some mince meat to it at this stage, I can then top it up with mash or put it in a pie or serve it with pasta or rice....etc... so there is less to do during the week.

World's your oyster!
Ooh yeah add a bit of gravy granules and put mash on top

morning
I just moved another BIG pile of things. Just a few more boxes of books and then the rest can wait until next week. I think now is the time to BUY ALL THE THINGS! in B&Q and put polyfilla in nail holes. I'm so very grown up and middle class.

How is the whole gym thing going? Ripped yet?
(, Sun 22 Jan 2012, 12:05, Reply)
the landlord used bread for nail holes

(, Sun 22 Jan 2012, 12:11, Reply)
No.
I'm not trying to get 'ripped' Captain! I'm trying to get myself fit enough to be able to walk back from the pub without needing to stop at the Chinese.
(, Sun 22 Jan 2012, 12:38, Reply)
i think the answer is to make the
chinese sell less delicious food
(, Sun 22 Jan 2012, 14:07, Reply)
How do I do that Captain?

(, Sun 22 Jan 2012, 14:16, Reply)
i think that's down to the chinese itself
that or work on aversion therapy for chinese food
(, Sun 22 Jan 2012, 14:17, Reply)
Or maybe just stop going to the pub

(, Sun 22 Jan 2012, 14:21, Reply)
then you can spend more time here!

(, Sun 22 Jan 2012, 14:22, Reply)
