Yeah, I had this phase of loving the beatles
and refusing to admit anything better had been recorded since. Bear in mind this was the late 80s/early 90s when all popular music was shitter than a shit thing.

Then I grew the fuck up and discovered proper music. I think I started with Led Zepplin's 4th album...

I love and adore Led Zep too. Have all their albums from 1st to Coda.
I believe that the Beatles are the greatest band ever, but I can also appreciate many different genres of music.

Only recently come across them as it happens
and I did specify popular music, as in if you were a young teeneager who's only exposure to music was TOTP and his parents record collection, you might not come across stuff like that and indeed I didn't.

Fuck it, I'm off down the pub to plot the revolution. I'm torn between paying £4:40 a pint and sticking to soft drinks though. :(
