I'm not convinced it has ever been much different.
i think its more that there's a natural life span to how long you find it funny for before you start to be able to too easily spot the lies, the set ups for jokes, the same memes repeating...

Our time has nearly passed, it's time for a new set of B3tans to have their fun while we sit back and smoke pipes thinking of the good old days...

At this point I feel I should make some pun based on 'Question Of The Week' but I just can't think of one.
Anyone got any ideas?

Quinten?

I got newslettered for a story in the 'childish things you've done as an adult' QOTW.
I think I all but retired not long after that. Once you've scaled that peak, etc.

There are still funny stories on there but as most of the questions haven't held any interest recently I rarely read it. Liking the return of Pooflake, though.

Pah, newslettered. I'm the Brazil of getting newslettered. After the third time I should have been allowed to keep it...
But yeah, the questions are just variations on old themes now. Which isn't surprising given how long it's been going.

And I think pooflake seems like a decent chap, but everyone has a different taste in the type of thing they like to read...

Pooflake's stuff makes me giggle.
Having met the bloke as well, I can easily picture him in some of his scrapes, which probably helps.
(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:17, Reply)
I'm sure.
it wasn't intended as a criticism, it's just not to my taste. As I've said here many times before, I don't judge people on what they find funny, humour is just about the most subjective thing there is and I wouldn't dream of saying someone is 'not funny', just that 'I don't get amused by them'.
(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:19, Reply)
Noel Feilding is not funny.
That isn't subjective, that's a fact. Anyone who actually laughs at him needs their face smashed in with a brick.
(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:22, Reply)
I laugh at Noel Fielding.

I would have disagreed with you
until that new show of his started this week.

I do not get amused by him.
(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:25, Reply)
I've heard it's really poor.

(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:27, Reply)
Just like everything else he's ever done.

(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:28, Reply)

do not
m ro
(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:27, Reply)
Well, that goes without saying.
He's a sexy sexy man.
(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:28, Reply)
I laugh at him
just not at his jokes
(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:49, Reply)
Well yeah, that's fair enough, not everyone is amused by the same stuff.
Many people like Michael McIntyre; I find him an annoyingly voiced wobble haired numpty.
(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:23, Reply)
No-one is amused by you.

(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 11:50, Reply)
That's a bit harsh.
I won qotw once, you know.
(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 12:02, Reply)
A bit like winning a medal at the Paralympics?

(, Wed 1 Feb 2012, 12:04, Reply)
look, typing several hundred words with a head dobber is a pretty impressive fucking achievement, right?
