You probably get confused between T J Hooker and The Fall Guy.

Ooh, I know this one.
One's a stuntman and one's a cunt, man.

No idea.
They both had sidekicks with lovely breasts. I have no idea what was going on anywhere else on the screen.

'Champion the Wonder Horse' was IN NO WAY SHIT OK?

(, Wed 15 Feb 2012, 16:28, Reply)
It was a bit.
At least Lassie could carry stuff in its mouth. The horse just shook its main and reared up a bit.

But what a theme tune.

(, Wed 15 Feb 2012, 16:31, Reply)
Fuck yes.
I think I sang that song pretty much continually for five or six years. It's no wonder my parents sold the house while I was on a school trip to Barry Island.

Hahahaha
Same here. Apart from the abandoned by parents shit. My brother and I got a Champion ANNUAL sent over by family in Canada. We were the fucking DONS at school.

At least your childhood wasn't utterly devoid of joy.
Oh.

When the original series was commissioned
it was billed as 'Wagon Train' (or is it 'Trail'?) in space.
These things go in waves. There'll be a couple of years where everyone loves scifi, then a couple of years when everyone loves medical dramas, etc etc. Right now it seems to be 'vampires and supernatural shit'.

Sometime in the mid 90s, programme makers realised that there was enough room to have all these niches running at the same time. That's why there is *always* an episode of Buffy or Friends playing *somewhere* in the world.

Actually, I've just realised that 'sometime in the mid 90s' should read 'when satellite TV was introduced and there were 250 channels to fill.

I'm glad you sorted that muddle out in your head before bashing it into the internet.
