And while my anorak is still on...
from my sketchy recollection of the film, they weren't even MiGs, they were actually Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighters with red stars on.

MiGs never had even numbers - 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31 etc.
