Like if they're fighting over a Lois Vatton bag, I'd say Swipey would win. Or if they're fighting over a signed copy of a book about people walking in forrests, Cavey would win. Or if they were fighting over me, I'd say I was the winner.
Had a good day at work today, did something super amazing cool, proper showed off how skilled I am at what I do. in side 1 day, I pulled appart an expensive comercial plug-in for Wordpress, and made it do exactly what the designer wanted. The whole thing got signed-off by the client without them talking to the designer, and the designer without talking to a developer. They were all shitting themselves thinking that it couldn't be done, at least not in the time frame (1 day), and then that they would have to compromise here'n'there.
BUT, but, I managed to do it all, in the day, and it looked 90% as to what the designer wanted, with 10% being stuff that I thought worked better, which everyone agreed on.
I totally rock at what I do.

I wish there were more points to my job when I could measure my awesomeness. We spend all day giving feedback and 'well done's to the kids, but it's rare anyone goes "bloody good job, there", which sometimes you just need to keep you going

Tiny little things that last a day or two at most, that end in a "HOLY SHIT, THATS COOL". Fuck the big long projects, that also end in a "HOLY SHIT, THATS COOL".
Today I subtially asked a few people if they're also being head-hunted, pretty much everyone is at the moment. I really need some better money, I'm having to do private work to keep my head above water, that I wouldn't have to do with other jobs. But, I fucking love working where I am and what I do. And my skillsets are growing and growing.
