I made it through about four pages of the first book in Waterstones
before coming away in disgust.

However, I would happily watch the series on loop. Especially all the bits with Eric in.

I bought the missus the full book set a couple of years ago.
It coincided with a nasty bout of flu and she devoured the lot in about ten days. That was eight books at the time.
