I'm thinking major bashes should not be suffixed -Stock
rather it should be -Gate, given the amount of fall-out there usually is the day after.

consider short-term apartments and the like, I got a studio apartment for £60 the last time I bashed in London (and didn't live here).

This is probably the best option
I have done this before in other cities to good effect.
Plus it will give me the opportunity to sneak off early and be in bed before midnight.
