is nobody in Scotland called Nigel.

If you can patronise me, then expect the same back. As it happens, I quite like the many English folk with whom I work and play. I give not one single fuck whether you like Scots.

I apologise. In my defence, there are no terms of endearment in Scotland. There is a certain inflection to the upward grunt, however. It is never, ever referred to as "Nigel."
