Alright Jeffster, all ready for later?
Got your lighter ready for the best parts ? I've got a pack of five just in case

Ready for the crushing disappointment?

so much so I've just got a ticket to see them again on Thursday !
i'm a glutton for punishment
(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:13, Reply)
They'll never top Reading '96 for me.

(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:19, Reply)
Glastonbury '95 did it for me

(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:22, Reply)
It takes a special kind of person
to come on stage, headlining the main stage at glastonbury, when half the audience have turned up specifically to see a band that now aren't there ... and take the piss out of them.

That was possibly the best live set I've seen.
(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:49, Reply)
This actually! I have no idea what happened.

(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:01, Reply)
Actually, I wasn't being intentionally coy.
It was just generic twatishness, repeating the same dumb angry comments over and over again.
(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:01, Reply)
Which is pretty much how off topic works, isn't it?
I can't see why he left then.
(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:03, Reply)
Well, yeah, but here I don't mind it so much.

(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:07, Reply)
what angry comments scarpe?
has everyone upset him? :(
(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:19, Reply)
Scarpe said Foggsy was a Wilf Lunn prick
CQ responded with a load of cretinous, half-baked student lefty shit, necked half a pack of Lithium and fell off his bike, to rapturous indifference.

THE END.
(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:04, Reply)
Don't put words in my mouth.
I'd hate it to get back to him that I'd said something I hadn't, I always liked Wilf Lunn. CQ, I'm ambivelant about, but I don't want Wilf getting upset.
(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:07, Reply)
Right unless scarpe says otherwise, this is exactly what happened

(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:07, Reply)
As long as we're clear that I have nothing against Wilf Lunn, I'm happy with the rest of that.

(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:19, Reply)
Did you manage
To catch his Angel Delight order first?
(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:09, Reply)
Woo!
I too am going to see the Stone Roses! I even bought new wellies to protect myself from the Manchester mud...

“It’s just possible that their legacy as a live act has something to do with the fact it coincided with an era when most of the audience contained enough Ketamine to drop a rhino.”

And I quite like them...

"[Watching] Ian Brown shuffle and mumble his way around the stage, shaking his head like a nursing home resident refusing to take a bath." made me LOL.
(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:45, Reply)
They don't have Angel Delight in the Victorian-style future, silly.

(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:32, Reply)
It's all syllabub, cooked over the steam from a copper kettle for CQ

(, Fri 29 Jun 2012, 9:38, Reply)
It is very early for POTD, but this may well be it.
