I'm not sure I understand the point of school reunions
I'm in touch with the people who I want to be already. I've no desire to sit in a room full of prematurely aged blokes boasting about which spec of Audi their new job allows them to have whilst their bored wives desperately scan the room looking for someone interesting to unleash five years of sexual frustration onto.

Actually, I suppose the last part could be interesting.

I imagine they appeal to two types of people:
Those you describe, who feel they have made a success of their lives and are hoping to try to impress someone; and weirdos who haven't really moved on and are hoping that the fit girl in the class has still got nice tits.
