I love living in Norwich
but absolutely no-one who lives here has anything remotely approaching a sense of urgency. I'm sure it'll be lovely if I'm still here in my 70s, but it's fucking maddening if you're in a hurry. The council are yet to take me up on my "pavement lanes" idea, providing individual (albeit narrow) paths for wheelchairs & buggies, residents, and me.
