I'm fortunate to have a Wetherspoons nearby that isn't terrible with ale, right temperature and everything
So I won't judge you hugely.

but waht about the people that go in there? the horrid carpets and airport furniture
the sticky floors and stench of despair and old beer and the TV's silently pumping out sport that no body is watching?

ghastly places.

I don't tend to pay much attention to the carpet, we tend to get the booths, where the seating is a little more comfortable
They're also up near the door, so we get fresh air, and I don't tend to notice the smell of old beer as much when I'm drinking it.

Also, I just avoid the people. Fortunately, they tend to sit in the middle of the pub, which makes this far easier.

yeah, but it's all part of the ambience innit

I tend to block that out

I don't know whether it's worse that you bothered to do this at all
or that such a shoddy effort has taken you a few hours

A few hours?
Monty only posted the Faggot family link about 20 minutes ago. And I am supposed to be working.

Ah, missed that
I imagined you'd been at this since your back-and-forth with AA earlier about the ethics of getting people to sponsor him to die horribly
(, Tue 17 Jul 2012, 16:31, Reply)
No, it was just an idea that popped into my head when Fat Bobby pointed out that the faggot man looked a lot like AA.
