Alt. The system doesn't make much difference, the smart kids will excel the less smart will not. Mind you if everyone magically got a superb education and excelled at it and all got high level qualifications who would do the skilled manual labour? How many people with thier 12 A* and top degrees would want to collect rubbish? to quote a film I'm really in to "The world needs ditch diggers too"

Alt alt. I didn't go abroad until I was old enough to pay for it myself. All my holidays as a kid were going to visit various relatives around the country and once we went to Center Parcs my dad was a skinflint old bastard though.
