If I go for a meal, it's generally all you can scoff Chinese buffet,
or a decent Indian. TGIF sound basically overpriced burgers and chips. Or "fries", as our merican cousins insist on calling them.

Nothing wrong with american bistro style food, but TGI is not a good example of it.

Fries are different to chips. Fries are thin and made to look like matchsticks, but chips are thick and chunky.
and then wedges are a whole other kettle of fish altogether.
