I'm proper looking forward to my violin.
I have it in my head that I'll be able to play whatever is in my head instantly without practice. Like whistling or singing, only it's automaticly in tune because its an instriument and not a voice.

even with loads of practice and lessons
even with a shit load of hitherto-unidentified natural violinary talent

even after all that, a violin is still a really fucking hard instrument to play to a quality that won't make everyone's ears bleed.

I think it would be easy, it doesn't have any cords.
I just gotta work out how to hold it. I've been air violining to you tube videos and I'm dead good at that, I even move my elbow l.
