I used asterisks to denote pseudo-activity in a work email
it was to the whole team, one had gone round saying something along the lines of "can whoever fucked the dev server put their hand up so we can figure out how to unfuck it?" and my email started *raises hand*

which then prompted several emails as to what that was and me explaining it. Do these people even USE the internet???
