I walk from London Fields to Angel down the canal five times a week,
and not having a garden I make good use of London's parks, weather permitting. Victoria Park has been really nicely done up and is really great for kids, loads of different adventure'y stuff inc two gigantic slides. Simply excellent.

I'm going to watch the Vikings thing tonight as I didn't see it yesterday. Big fan of the Alfred Jewel though, I saw it in the British Museum when it was on loan there, when I was a teenager. Vickit.

One night in the next week we shall be sitting down with my proposals and will thrash out a deal. If that can’t be done she will have to engage a lawyer and she doesn’t want to for monetary reasons, so for once in my fucking life things are slightly in my favour.
