You should be like all good pub staff and go and take the fruit machine for a jackpot.
You've been looking at it all day, you must know it's due to payout.
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 21:16, Reply)
i've got some bad news doggers,

I'm not arsed about a pub having a pool table.
Darts are good however.

They were big into Skittles alleys. Big waste of space but very popular.

if you mean the proper skittles with wooden balls.
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 21:35, Reply)
That's what I mean
I lived in Gloucester for three years and there were a few pubs that had them.
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 21:36, Reply)
Ah, yeah, there are a few out in the villages,
there is even a couple of teams still, but Oxfordshire is an Aunt Sally town when it comes to archaic pub games.

(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:29, Reply)
What did he do to get shot.

(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:34, Reply)
not really sure, I wasn't there
but he got shot in the leg at some point (which was his excuse for not dancing at the ceiligh) and I think he got hit in the head, too. To be fair, it was a gun fight

I didn't get hit even when I was up in peoples' faces with a video camera, but I did get shot standing behind cover with the medics :(
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:36, Reply)
When you say 'shot'....
I just assumed you pointed sticks at each other and shouted 'BANG' when you wanted to fire.
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:40, Reply)
close enough
but role play, you know
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:43, Reply)
Hello,
I'm going to have to go and do some work now cavy, but i went and did that Larp thin tent wotsit, and I tell you, it was a hoot.
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:27, Reply)
YAY!
larpers are fun and drunk. Glad you enjoyed it
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:27, Reply)
a lot of them could not handle their booze,
and some were really fucking rude, especially when I refused to serve a group of what I think were druids when one was sick on the bar (well, table, but you know,) the actually larping bit all seemed a bit daft though, but I admit, it was a good laugh.
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 23:53, Reply)
wait, this makes TWO /OTers
to admit that larp is fun in two days. My plan for world domination is almost complete
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:45, Reply)
So, anyway...
What are we all up to tonight?
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:45, Reply)

(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:53, Reply)

I've not beeen feeling great.

(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:47, Reply)
Excellent start to a week off.
Is it manflu, or just fast living catching up with you?
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:48, Reply)
This happens whenever I take time off.
I'm better off not taking any leave. My body doesn't react well to rest.
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:51, Reply)
It's probably more that you survive on adrenaline and stress while your working
and when you stop, your body decides to catch up with all the 'ugh' you've made it power through.

You should have a day at the seaside to get some fresh air.
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:56, Reply)
The seaside is over rated.

(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:59, Reply)
It certainly is.

(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 22:59, Reply)
I'll bet even the donkeys have fucked off for the winter.

(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 23:02, Reply)
Probably.
I've not been in town for a long time, so I don't know what's going on.
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 23:08, Reply)
You might have missed the sea.
I understand it comes in around this time of year.
(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 23:08, Reply)
I heard it doesn't like to get too close to the town.

(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 23:10, Reply)
It says a lot for WsM when the sea would rather stay with the mud than risk meeting a tourist.

(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 23:11, Reply)
I think it's more the locals it wants to avoid.

(, Mon 15 Oct 2012, 23:12, Reply)
Bed, right now.
