I wish I could eat food like you
I reckon if I ate what you ate I'd die, or at the very least spend the majority of my time on the loo.

What's wrong, health wise, with some salad, rice and lamb chops and a bit of mint jelly?

Nothing at all.
Every time I read your messages you're tucking into some rich tasty takeaway though. My comment wasn't specific to that post.

Sounds good. Bon Apetit.

I think it looks like that because I wouldn't 'show off', for lack of a better word, something like a ham sandwich.
I'm not comparing myself to any kind of well-known chef, but the same misconception could be said about Heston/Jamie/Whoever.... that all you see them cook is bountiful meals, but I bet they don't eat like that for every meal.

Also, there is a big difference between what I get and what I eat; you can ask anyone I've eaten out with from here if I've ever finished my meal in one sitting / not bought home a doggy-bag.

I guess I'm defensive by the accusation that I only eat crap because it implies my problems would be gone if I didn't; that it's self inflicted.

I think you just talk about food a lot
even more so than other internet people.

Because its an interest in mine that is common to everyone.
