"the only things I did different was I too added a full cup of chicken broth. I also added 1/2 Cup of dehydrated onions. I always try and keep that on hand for a lil extra onion flavor when I dont have time to cut up an onion"

HAHA!
I love not having enough time to cut up an onion.

Those pesky, time-consuming onions.

I am so busy that I am going to retrieve some dehydrated onion from it's packet in the cupboard.
I am then going to retrieve a measurer, measure. Put packet away.

And it's CHOP an onion. You cut up a body. Like the body of someone who is so stupid they say "cut up an onion".

What?
Two packets of wet crackers and three tins of soup? Nary a vegetable in sight.

American cooking is basically opening packets and combining.
