Actually, you're right.

Annoyingly I was parked with my right rear wheel on a bit of pavement. The pavement finished about 30cm past my wheel. And this was on a minor road at 9.30pm.

Yep.
I can't really complain, I was parked very slightly in contravention of the law, but it's still fucking annoying given that I know that just around the corner there were about 5 cunts parked on double yellows.
