finishing my A-levels I think,
although, knowing me back then, instead of studying i was probably terribly stoned as Tuesday was a free day for us.

I've just written the pub quiz, i didn't miss the break from it. I might find a cretin to take it over as I genuinely hate having to write the fucking thing.

fuck
you're younger than I thought, then. Shut it, youngy
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:40, Reply)
I'M NEARLY 26,
THAT MAKES ME A GROWN UP AND I DEMAND A LITTLE RESPECT.
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:40, Reply)
woah
I'd been treating you like a real human and everything
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:41, Reply)
i bet you're like 40 and old and shit.

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:41, Reply)
Oi!
I am only 2 of those things.

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:44, Reply)

I've paid attention in the past when he has referred to his age.

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:46, Reply)

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:44, Reply)

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:45, Reply)

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:46, Reply)
Alright Andy Bell.

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:42, Reply)
Really? I thought you were forty something.
Only because you're a pub manager and they all seem to be old and fat, mind.
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:43, Reply)
Being 25 means he has to ask himself for ID everyday before he can serve drinks.

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:47, Reply)
yeah,
people always seem surprised that i run a pub at my age, beause they find it hard to equate that sort of success in a chosen career with their own lives, where they are nearly 40 and still working for someone else.
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:51, Reply)
working for yourself is so very 2005

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:53, Reply)
Perhaps. I could see a bar manager being 26.
But with pubs it seems there's an expectation that it's something people take up later in life, rather than some measure of success. I'm not sure the general opinion really considers pub managers to be successful career-people. I don't mean to put you down or anything there, but I think it's something that people expect to retire to, or as a career change.
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:54, Reply)
fair enough,
but if everything works out according to plan, I'll have my own pub in the next couple of years.
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:55, Reply)
My mate ran a pub at your age, then went to uni at 27 the same year as me.
He's now moaning about losing all his child benefit so he's going to be making good money.
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:54, Reply)
to be honest,
i was just seeing if i could find anyone to get riled up, i'm aware that it's not something i want to be doing for much longer, unless i can actually buy my own pub, i've hit a ceiling.
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:56, Reply)
so do you get to pick what barmats you use and everything?

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 13:20, Reply)
I chose to have no bar mats glued. none.

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 13:27, Reply)
So you shouldn't, it buggers up the varnish when you have to unstick them

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 13:31, Reply)
7th January was a Friday in 2005, does this change things?

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:41, Reply)
i would have had philosophy on fridays.
So no.
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:42, Reply)
Can't you just buy questions off people once a week.
A pub near me did.
(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:43, Reply)
there must be a website with ready made quizzes on

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:44, Reply)
I wish OT did that.

(, Mon 7 Jan 2013, 12:45, Reply)
yeah,
I can, but it would lose some of its charm if it was just a generic pub quiz i think.
