I was listening to BBC world service while making pulled pork on Saturday
because I'm a sophisticate. When I heard an interview with this guy about his new "flats"

www.telegraph.co.uk/property/interiorsandshopping/9659039/The-Yo-Home-Four-rooms-for-the-size-of-one.html

I think they're a really good idea, because I've always wanted one of those flip up into wall beds. What is your opinion?

Vids here. yo.co.uk/yo-home/videos/

there was this guy on one of those home improvement programs with that geordie guy
And the first guy was using mechanisms they use in theatres to fold away all of his furniture, the bed would roll into the floor to reveal a sofa, the ceiling would come down to reveal the kitchen etc

Nice idea but I wouldn't want to live my whole life in one room

as long as I can recreate the scene from the fifth element with leeloo in the shower and that other guy in the freezer
I'm ok with it
(, Mon 21 Jan 2013, 11:32, Reply)
Yeah, I've always wanted one too ever since seeing You Only Live Twice* as a child.
But I'd still rather live in a house and have space and a garden and stuff.

*Or whichever Bond film it is where there is that flip-up bed bit in the opening scene.

I always liked the fold-down ironing board from the opening titles of Hong Kong Phooey.
There - I've said it.

I think you're going to ruffle a lot of feathers with this controversial opinion.

My new house has a fold down ironing board in a secret cupboard in the kitchen

just think of the added benefits tho
you take a girl back for coffee after a date, but she looks like she might have changed her mind and wants to leave.
you press a button and foom! she and the sofa have disappeared into the floor, giving you ample time to find ropes, take off your trousers etc

basically, i'm saying george clarke is a rape enabler
