The point being is that stag weekends aren't about your friends, they're about the stags friends.
Also they suffer from the same problems as new years eve, which is people expect too much.

Yeah, we've had this debate before.
Nearly all of the stag weekends I have been on have involved roughly the same group of close friends.
And to be fair you are right - the one time I went when I wasn't in the immediate circle of friends, there were a lot of pricks there.
Luckily I got separated from the main group and had a good time in a different bar.

Which is why I had mine in London, 20 of watched the rugby 7's at Twickenham and went for a few beers and a meal. Very civilised. No strippers, no dodgy clubs & no stupid drinking games.
