Standard childcare cost in London (for a qualified registered minder; nothing special) is about £12 an hour. Say you're working a 40 hour week and you spend an hour a day travelling to & from work, so 45 hours a week = childcare costs of £540 per week out of net income.
So you need to earn about £40k a year just to cover your childcare costs.

We should apply this logic to everything. I can't afford it so people that work in this industry should be paid less.

I've got a "returner" who is supposed to be coming back at some stage. She is acting like the firm HAVE to accomodate her wishes. Silly, baggy vagged baby machine.
I keep telling everyone I don't need her, hopefully they will get rid. Fucking working mothers, pain in the neck.

She had a child and then wanted to fuck about coming back part time but had to pay to have her child looked after?
