You don't need as much sauce as you might think
And if you use the Jack Daniels sauce, I don't think it's smokey enough so I'm gonna try adding a load of smoked paprika to it.

How are you doing it?

Get frying pan nice and hot
quickly seal the meat and get the crackling a bit burnt
place in slow cooker
Pour on BBq sauce
Stir in several teaspoons (the equivalent of dessert spoons for Battered) of smoked paprika
Cook on low for about 7-8 hours

I did it last weekend but I used two bottles of sauce which I think was too much.
Oh I forgot, I also chopped up about 4 onions and chucked them in too. They were lovely.

Make your own BBQ sauce, you can get it just how you like it.
Especially if you use molasus and 'liquid smoke'.
