What I find most distressing is that I'm so unsurprised and apathetic about this.
my response is somewhere between "what did you expect?" and "what are you gonna do?" torries being torries, shocker. So we can look forward to glorious and incisive policies form that nice mr milliband in a year or two.

there's no one in the running for actually forming a government I could bring myself to vote for. another protest vote looms.

I tend to vote for the party closest to my actual views, for a laugh, like.
in the past this has been, the socialists, the Liberals (not libdems, proper old fashioned liberals) and People Before Proffit.

net result: we had 2 Socialist councelors now we have none, it remains a safe labout seat.
