I don't think I'm a fan of any band.
Some I like, some I don't, some (like Oasis, the Smiths etc) I like despite myself.

I would suggest that "fans" are cunts regardless of the band they follow.

It really really is.
The only gig I've been to at the MK bowl where I gave up trying to get a beer because they were all getting 10 lagers at a time by the thousand.
