But particularly people that when you tell them that something has to be done a certain way say "hold on a minute, I'll just check" and then come back with "yes, that's fine".

Yes. I know it's fucking fine. You don't have a choice. That's why I told you to do it that way. You don't get to decide whether it's fine or not, you do it and get what you want, or you don't. Shut the fuck up and do it.
