I don't get self service tills
Presumably the idea is to employ less checkout monkeys, but it takes as many to man them because people are fuckwits and the tills are shit, so defeating the object, surely?

I've never had a problem buying booze or weighing things on them.
Just politely ask the nice lady to come over and put her code in, remember the code in that shop, do it yourself next time.
