white is all you should really wear in court
there are embarrassing stories of judges saying, "i can't hear you," to which the hapless solicitor simply clears his throat and shouts a bit more..... one of my colleagues once had to have it adjourned and run out to m&s for a white shirt. but most judges don't bother with it.

i bought a shirt from m&s that was very bright fuchsia with red sleeves (nicer than it sounds!) and wore it peeping out from underneath a very dark navy trouser suit. and still got, "off to a party, are we?" from a partner.

yeah, because i wear trouser suits to PARTIES.

It doesn't really bother me, I just appear to have more grey than I thought.
