Depends.
If you put two quid on it to win at 14/1 and it did win, your total return would be thirty quid, of which £28 would be profit.

Assuming you put on a quid each way, totalling a two quid bet and the horse won you'd probably be looking at just under £19, if it was placed you'd probably get back just under £4 assuming your bookie pays a quarter of the odds for a place.
