(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 21:07, Reply)
Will you be able to sleep this evening though?

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 21:11, Reply)
I think I will, I normally wake up a good 4 or 5 times in the night, but I think tonight i'll sleep it through.
Might have a bath to help me unwind.
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 21:13, Reply)
Why not have some nice bath oils, and maybe light a few candles as well.

Repressed dogma-fixated paddies?
I live in the city of people who think an imaginary man in the sky is in charge of everything.

I rarely work locally. Today I have. What a fucking fiasco.
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 21:11, Reply)
Oh dear TD, what happened?

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 21:12, Reply)
Difficult to say
There's a certain element of local society which considers property development to be an ethical investment, and that's fine.

My business model is formed around a very high standard.

I live here, but I don't often work here.

I'm listening to We've Got A Fuzzbox And We're Gonna Use It!
Takes me back to the days of the Indie countdown on the Chart Show.

I bought a best of CD a few years ago.
Rules and Regulations is still a great track, as is Love Is the Slug.

Jo died last year, it seems.

I watched that show about the bloke with the huge testicles, he came across as quite a nice guy. Good luck to him.

Evening all.

It's no use Winders, everyone's fucked off.

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:42, Reply)
I'm here.
Although I'm about to do some ironing.

You got any news DG?
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:43, Reply)
I submitted my CV to an agency this afternoon regarding a vacancy.
Within an hour the agency chap rang me; wants me to tweak it a bit so it's a bit more job specific. Turns out the job is at RIBA, and my CV is the only one he's received so far that he'd consider submitting to them.

I might go outside and see if I can spot the moon.

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:52, Reply)
I've had a look for the moon, but the clouds are fucking it up.

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:56, Reply)
Those clouds are always making mistakes.
Cunts.
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:59, Reply)
I might go up there and give them a piece of my mind

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 23:01, Reply)
Don't bother
That moon hasn't made much of an effort.

I was massive a couple of years ago, it's a bit bigger, but hardly worth a mention.
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 23:06, Reply)
Woo!
Fingers crossed for you - I've had some very positive experiences with agencies recently. I think they're actually getting their shit together at last!
Hope it works out - if you do get to work for the RIBA will you still talk to us?
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:53, Reply)
I've got no idea what a RIBA is.

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:55, Reply)
Me neither.

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:56, Reply)
Royal Institute of British Architects.

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:58, Reply)
Oooh.
Proper posh then.

What role are you up for?
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:59, Reply)
Project support bod.
Right, I'm off for a bit.
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 23:00, Reply)
It sounds quite interesting,
and it's a brand new post that I could stamp my mark upon.

I'm not counting any chickens mind, but it's the most positive lead I've had for a while, so...
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 22:57, Reply)
Sounds good,
What sort of architecture do you do?
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 23:00, Reply)
I don't, for the last 13 years or so I've worked in grants and economic development.
This would be a bit of a sideways move into a different area, but some of the work I've done kind of matches the job spec, hence the application.
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 23:10, Reply)
Who was your favourite of the Grants in Brookside?
I know this has nothing to do with the job you're going for, I'm just curious.
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 23:15, Reply)
Sheila.
PHWOOOOAR, etc.
(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 23:16, Reply)
Or maybe the blond one with the big tits who married into the family and couldn't read.

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 23:16, Reply)
Yeah, probably her.

(, Mon 24 Jun 2013, 23:18, Reply)
We really need Roota here.
I can't remember the blonde with the tits.
