The standard cables are cheaply manufactured, so you'll get badly made connections, which is the point at which you'll lose quality. Once you're in the price point of getting decently manufactured terminals, you're pretty much at the pinnacle. Anything more expensive and it's pure profiteering.

Law of diminishing returns, innit. It'll be the difference between a Stilton and a Roquefort. At best an expert might be able to tell the difference, but most people will think "it tastes like blue cheese, you lying fucking snob"
