How many times were you Ofsteaded while you were a teacher?
can you give battered an idea of how big a difference there is between an outstanding and a good school.

Ofsted normally happens every two years or so
There is a very fine margin between good and outstanding.

Yeah, they like to keep an eye on 'borderline' schools.
Most boards of governers will only stand one or two dodgy inspections before they replace headteachers. Sometimes that's enough to make a difference.

I only taught for one year
and we weren't inspected.

The judging standards have probably changed completely since then too.
