I'm looking for a hotel room in London that doesn't cost a ridiculous amount
Any recommendations?

I've stayed in the RE a few times.
That isn't too bad. Not overly expensive although the neighbours are a bit iffy.

I tend to either stop in the........
Blakemore in Bayswater www.blakemore-hotel-london.co.uk/ ,
or the Magaro’s penthouse apartment hotelmegaro.co.uk/apartment-suites/ Just near Kings Cross, quite reasonable prices

I do love sites where you have to contact them for a price
sorry, not love, the other thing, "immediately remove from consideration".
