Swipey could make herself richer by listening to me, instead of paying some pretty bellend spouting SCIENCE at her.
Eat healthy food in reasonable portions, do some fucking exercise. It costs about £60 for a pair of decent trainers - go for a run - it's fucking free. If you want to build up a bit, do some press-ups and sit-ups.

It really isn't complicated.

The only thing that people lack is self discipline, and no amount of money will buy that.

no, but having a plan to follow does help massively

Here's one.
1. Buy trainers.
2. Go for run.
3. Eat less cake.
4. Repeat.

I don't think we should be talking "massively" here

Plan:
1. Eat healthily.
2. Do some exercise every other day.
3. Don't be a weak-minded, easily-distracted fool.

True. It's the road to Darwinism.
I used to smoke. I smoked quite heavily for a while. I gave up after realising what an utterly, utterly stupid thing it is to do, which took me nearly 20 years to realise.

Fatness, likewise, is a choice.

too black and white
there are people in the middle who need inspiring and encouraging

Brown ones?

(, Wed 24 Jul 2013, 11:41, Reply)
Here's some inspiration and encouragement: do you want to be a fat or slim?
Christ. What next - you want people to read books aloud for you?

no
but if i get up at 6.30 and i am in work by 7.30 and i work til 8 at night, i need some encouragement to make me spend the next 90 minutes working out. if i've paid a lot of money for a PT, it does the trick!

So it's not the health you're after, it's the buying of a service?

(, Wed 24 Jul 2013, 11:48, Reply)
bit of both
i think you have to allow that people see and do things differently. maybe you have iron willpower. good for you. not everyone is like that. so long as they are trying, and not sitting around in a blob of lard, let them get on with it, dude.

Oh I have no people spending their cash on whatever they want - I'm a great believer in parting people from their cash for one's own personal gain.
I'm just pointing out how you can save an awful lot of your cash.

i'd only spunk it on worse things
although my dad has VERY generously said he'll pay for this course, which is amazing of him
(, Wed 24 Jul 2013, 12:01, Reply)
I do a course - it's very reasonably-priced.
