it was nice and firm. can't be doing with sloppy eggs, they make me want to retch.

poached (too slimy)
fried (too slimy and greasy)
covered in meat
they are fine if they are:
scrambled to a firm texture with lots of spices/cheese/vegetables
omelette'd to a firm texture
mashed into mayonnaise with cracked black pepper and spread on granary bread
baked into anything else
that's all
