In my last but one jobthe IT monkeys terminated my system access 2 weeks early, so I had to call them to get my account reinstated. "You'll need a new username and password" they said "but don't worry, as soon as you're back on line we'll email them to you". Then hung up.

Ha, classicWhenever our VPN is down, they email everyone to tell them. Then they email us to tell us when it's come back up. Fine if you're on a lan, but if you're working from home...
