I got bang into writing stories years ago, then my job got in the way and I stopped
Thinking about taking it up again, but I'm still in the ideas phase.

What would your book/story/play/movie be about? I make no bones about it, I will be stealing the best idea.

Alt: How many coats have you owned in your entire life? Quite a few, right?

I've half-written two stories, both for my kid.
The first one is about a girl who becomes captain of a pirate ship but I go so caught up trying to create a backstory giving a moral justification for a life of piracy that it all got a bit convoluted.

The other is more like a traditional European fairytale involving a hidden world behind a waterfall, a swordsmith and some other shit.

Cool
I've thought about writing a book for the boys. Maybe I should try that first.

As I understand it, having a clearly-defined target readership makes it a lot easier to do.

I'd write about a fucking boy wizard, his mate Mick Hucknall and their adventures. He's have a Z on his head and wear glasses.
