is the difference sci-fi = robots; fantasy = dragons?

(, Mon 5 Aug 2013, 10:47, 1 reply, 12 years ago)
Sci fi = Robot + aliens + spceships + speculation about how all kinds of stuff in the future
Fantasy = endless re writes of Lord of The Rings which are generally worse than the original which was really poor in the first place.

Not saying you have to like sci fi, just that it has more range because it's usually set in the future where as fantasy is basically medieval england with dragons.

ah ok
they both sound pretty terrible to me. but what do i know?

hey, don't expect you to like either, you're a 'girl' after all
Just saying fantasy is even worse, it's basically for people who want to pretend they are big tough barbarians with swords rather than puny weakling nerds.

no idea why Monty doesn't like it

It's alright for fat girls though, isn't it?
Doesn't 'Fantasy' allow them to truss all the fat up in a corset to make a cleavage?
(, Mon 5 Aug 2013, 11:21, Reply)
Yes, basically
this and get tons of attention from nerd-men because the ratio is about 10-1
